Saturday, February 19, 2022, students of theIslamic Community Development(PMI) Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga 2021 held an Empowerment School and Familiarity Night "Malam Lepas Landas, Keakraban Tiada Batas" in Wonokerto Village, Turi District, Sleman Regency.

This event was held by PMI and HMPS-PMI Study Programs. The Empowerment School agenda presented several speakers from PMI Study Program and alumni. The Chairman of HMPS-PMI Ikhsan Muhsinin gave a speech at the Empowerment and Makrab School event. In addition, the Head of PMI Study Program, Siti Aminah, M. Si gave a speech and opened the event.

In this Empowerment School, the committee presented 3 speakers, they were Ayu Restianti, S.Sos (alumni and also representing PMI Study Program), Muhammad Iqbal Sanusi, S.Sos (PMI alumni, Masters students of PSdK UGM), and Syarif Hidayat, S.Sos ( PMI alumni, Wukirsari BPD staff, and APMD Government Science Masters students).

The first speaker, Ayu spoke about the socialization of academic guidelines, lectures and the Merdeka Belajar-KampusMerdeka (MBKM) curriculum. In the second presentation, Iqbal shared his experiences as a student who was active in class and active in organizations. In the third presentation, Syarif talked about good practices in serving the community and empowering the community.

It was excpected that PMI 2021 students can be more sensitive to the importance of being active in class and organizing and also starting to equip themselves before entering the world of community empowerment.
