Review of Community Development Practices (PPM) of the Islamic Community Development Study Program and the Signing of the Cooperation Agreement between PPM Partner Institutions and the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka Program (MBKM)

YOGYAKARTA – The Islamic Community Development (PMI) department held a Field Advisory Lecturer Meeting (DPL): Review of Community Development Practices (PPM) and the Cooperation of the Partners Institute Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in the Meeting Room 2nd Floor FDK UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This meeting took place from 09.00 am to 12.00 noon.

This activity brings together various institutions and NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) and communities that have partner and cooperate in organizing PPM 1 and 2 for PMI students in semesters 6 and 7.

This field supervisor /DPL meeting was guided by Master of Ceremony Halimatus Sa'diyah, M.I.Kom, . Furthermore, Secretary of PMI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Beti Nur Hayati, M.A gave a welcome speech and greeting to representatives of partner institutions who were present at the DPL meeting. The next speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Dr. Hj. Marhumah, M.Pd at the same time opened the DPL Meeting: PPM Review and MBKM Partner Institution Cooperation.

The event was attended by PPM Campus Advisors, including Siti Aminah, M.Si, Beti Nur Hayati, M.A, Dr. Pajar Hatma Indra Jaya, M.Si, Dr. Sriharini, M.Si, Drs. Moh. Abu Suhud, M.Pd, and Rahadiyand Aditya, M.A

In this meeting, Islamic community development/PMI Study Program which was represented by the Head of PMI Siti Aminah, M.Si invited DPLs and representatives of partner institutions to discuss the PPM guide book and review the PPM 1 activities carried out by students in each partner institution which has been running for the even half semester (6). Therefore, each institution is given 10 minutes to explain the PPM activities of PMI students at their institution and provide comments and suggestions and constructive input for a better PPM in the future.

The DPL and representatives of partner institutions who attended this meeting included the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) Kapanewon Jetis Bantul, Sasana Inklusi dan Gerakan Advokasi Difabel (SIGAB) Indonesia, Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Arimbi binaan dan dampingan CSR Pertamina Adisucipto, Forum Keluarga Difabel Pinilih Sedayu, CSR Pertamina Rewulu, RW 06 Ledok Gowok (Gajahwong), Forum Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (FTBM) Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, dan Yayasan Lembaga Kajian Islam dan Sosial (LKiS)who cannot attend offline but can attend via Zoom Meeting.

At the end of the event, the Head of PMI Study Program Siti Aminah, M.Si accompanied by the Dean of faculty of da'wah and communication UIN Sunan Kalijaga Prof. Dr. Hj. Marhumah, M.Pd and deputy dean III, as well as Lecturer of PMI Study Program Dr. Pajar Hatma Indra Jaya, M. Si and Senior Lecturer of PMI Study Program Dr. Aziz Muslim, M.Pd signed a cooperation agreement with representatives of partner institutions in terms of organizing PPM and MBKM program internships for PMI students at partner institutions. The expectation of this cooperation can run smoothly and successfully and the relationship between the two can be established well. It is hoped that the PMI Study Program and partner institutions can always have positive synergy with each other in community empowerment activities.
