Release of PPM Students for Islamic Community Development Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga for Community Development Practices at PKH Kapanewon Jetis Bantul

BANTUL - Thursday, February 17, 2022, the Islamic Community Development Study Program of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication carried out the deployment and release of students who would carry out Community Development Practices (PPM) in the Family Hope Program (PKH) Kapanewon Jetis, Bantul Regency.

The event was held at the Balai Kapanewon Jetis, Bantul. PMI 2019 students who will do this Community Development Practice (Praktik Pengembangan Masyrakat/PPM) consist of two groups.

The event was opened by PKH Facilitator, Kapanewon Jetis, Bantul. In addition, this PPM student was warmly welcomed by Panewu Anom Kapanewon Jetis Bantul Dra. Kristin Agus Praptiwi.

The PMI Study Program was represented by the Chair of the PMI, Siti Aminah, M.Si as well as a Campus Supervisor for the PPM PKH group, Kapanewon Jetis. Mrs. Aminah hopes that PMI students who are PPM at PKH Kapanewon Jetis Bantul can focus on assessing and exploring potential and problems in PPM 1. This is so that students can create prospective and targeted work programs to empower and develop Kelompok Penerima Manfaat/KPM (Beneficiary Groups) PKH Kapanewon Jetis Bantul.

In addition, the assistant of PKH Kapanewon Jetis Bantul really appreciates the existence of PPM in Kapanewon Jetis. PKH Facilitator Kapanewon Jetis feels helped by PMI students who do PPM in KPM hamlets assisted by PKH Kapanewon Jetis. The student program is certainly expected to help the community to be empowered and develop and even progress, especially in terms of the economy.

It is hoped that the impact of these activities will encourage them to be independent in the future.
